Answers to common questions.
Booking and payment
How much does it cost?
The price is shown on each evening. Tapas Relay is €69 per person, including all ten tapas. Drinks are ordered and paid at the venue.
How do I pay?
Through Mollie, with iDEAL, card or another method. Your seat is held for 30 minutes while you pay.
What if my side is full?
Join the waitlist for free. If a seat opens, we email you and hold it for 24 hours. You only pay then.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable. There’s no 14-day right of withdrawal for leisure events on a fixed date. If we cancel or move the evening, you get your money back.
Can I give my seat to someone else?
Yes. Email us their name and email address at least 48 hours before the evening. They need to be on the same side and in the age range.
I bought my ticket on another platform.
Add your details on Have a ticket? with your order number. You don’t pay again.
The evening
Do I need to know how to cook?
No. There’s no cooking at the table. Everything is prepped, and you assemble each tapa together in about four minutes.
Who comes?
Singles in the age range shown for each evening. Mixed evenings have ten women and ten men.
Can I come with a friend?
Yes, book separately. You’ll be in the same room, and you can compare notes afterwards.
How long does it take?
Ten rounds take just under two hours, plus a welcome and a close. Each evening shows its start and end time.
What if someone doesn’t show up?
The host keeps the rotation going. An empty seat becomes a short break, or the host takes the seat for that round.
Which language is it in?
Each evening shows its language.
Food and allergies
I’m vegetarian.
Every tapa has a vegetarian version. Choose it when you book.
I have an allergy.
Tell us when you book. We list the allergens of every dish, but the food isn’t prepared in an allergen-free kitchen, so we can’t rule out traces.
Is it vegan, gluten-free or halal?
Not at the moment. The base of every tapa is vegetarian; meat and fish are toppings.
Matches and privacy
How do matches work?
After the evening you get a private link to tick who you’d like to see again. When it’s mutual, you both get the contact details the other chose to share.
What do my dates see?
While choosing: your first name, the initial of your last name and the round you met in. After a mutual yes: only what you chose to share.
What are my chances?
Research averages: about 1 in 8 dates is mutual, and about 6 in 10 people leave with at least one match. Averages, not a guarantee. Open the Box.
How long do you keep my details?
Allergy details: 7 days after the evening. Booking details: 3 months, unless you ask us to keep your profile. Payment records: 7 years, as the law requires.
