At mixed evenings, women stay seated and men move one seat after every round. Ten rounds, ten partners, each one exactly once. Every pair makes the same tapa in the same round, from a tray that’s already prepped.

The menu

Each round is one tapa, assembled at your table in about four minutes. Nothing to cook, nothing to get wrong.

1 Pan con tomate with jamón

At your table
One of you rubs the toast with garlic. The other spoons on the tomato. Finish with olive oil, salt and a slice of jamón.

Manchego instead of jamón.
Allergens
Gluten (vegetarian: Gluten, Milk)

Allergens are for the planned recipe. Ready-made ingredients can contain others, such as mustard or sulphites, so tell us about any allergy when you book. Manchego is usually made with animal rennet.

Like a blind box, you know what’s inside: ten tapas, served in this order. The one thing you can’t see is the secret. The date where you both say yes.

An optional Spanish flight, about two glasses in total. Served and sold by the venue, with an alcohol-free alternative.

Why book with us.

  • Balanced by design.

    Ten and ten. Separate lists for each side keep every evening even.

    Each side has its own seats and its own waitlist. When one side fills up first, new sign-ups for that side join the waitlist, so the room stays balanced.

  • Pay only for a real seat.

    Side full? Join the waitlist for free. You pay when a seat opens.

    When a seat opens, we email the next person on the waitlist. The seat is held for 24 hours. Pay within that time and it’s yours.

  • Can’t make it?

    Give your seat to someone else on the same side and in the age range.

    Email us their name and email address at least 48 hours before the evening. Tickets can’t be refunded, but they can be passed on.

  • Hosted, start to finish.

    A host welcomes you, keeps time and calls every switch.

    You never have to work out where to go next. The host runs the clock, the trays arrive at your table, and the rotation takes care of itself.

  • Your details stay yours.

    Dates see your first name. Contact details go only to mutual matches.

    After the evening you get a private link to choose who you’d like to see again. If it’s mutual, you both get the contact details the other chose to share. Nobody else does.

  • Allergies taken seriously.

    Tell us when you book. Every dish lists its allergens.

    Your allergy details go to the person preparing the food, and we delete them seven days after the evening.
